(about 1 year ago)I'm a big fan of Syrah. I've found it to be the most conistant stand-alone varietal out there. There are exceptions, though, like this toxic waste for example. When you first whiff it, it smells like a campfire. The flavors in this stuff are completely atrocious. The only saving grace this wine has is the consistancy. Don't waste your money!(Unless you feel like writing a bad review) 06/07

(about 1 year ago)Consistently good, my favorite in this price range.

(about 1 year ago)Strong odor of cherries and vinegar, with a hint of nutmeg and barnyard on the nose. Hint of strawberries on the front with notes of sour cranberries and cherries on the mid palate. It's rather smooth but not very robust, even a little thin. So, a touch funky, which I like, but far to thin and weak on the back end.
