(over 2 years ago)Great bang for your buck with this TJ's standby.

(about 1 year ago)Unbelieveably good wine for the price. Goes great with chicken pasta and alfredo sauce. Drank it all and made the wife drink Two Buck Chuck. ;)

(about 1 year ago)A nice sweet white wine, perfect for the summer. Nice citrus fruit, and a sort of salty note on the finish, which was actually pretty nice.

(about 1 year ago)I tasted and smelled a lot of honey/honeysuckle. There was a little citrus in there as well. The finish was a bit disjointed, but for the price, this a very decent wine. I'd definitely buy this again.

(about 1 year ago)I really liked the flavor complexity of this wine. It is incredibly juicy and lightly sweet - a perfect wine with appetizers -- and it's cutting the heat of the day nicely with it's crispness - but it also has a nice body! Nice wine.

(about 1 year ago)Stellar value. Perhaps a bit syrupy for some; problem is exacerbated when the wine gets too warm. Excellent capturing of the aromatic characteristics of viognier which makes this taste better than the price would otherwise indicate. I love pairing this with smoked gouda, and the way the flavor changes with dark chocolate is uncanny. Do yourself a favor and pick up a bar while you're at Trader Joe's.

(7 months ago)Instantly, you know this wine is your friend. It will do everything it can to cheer you up. In fact, with each sip, it delivers a bouquet of fresh flowers. There are more fragrant, complex and expensive Viogniers available, but this one is perfectly acceptable for a summer evening. It is not thin and one-dimensional, like many reasonably priced whites. The longer this wine is out of the fridge, the more open and generous it becomes. Kind of like the infamous "third date" with your new special friend. Backstory: I was introduced to the Viognier grape at a wine tasting with neighbors. I had never encountered a wine so fragrant and reminiscent of my youthful gambols through the meadows of Kenosha County, Wisconsin, praising the arrival of spring and all its promises.

(26 days ago)Clear golden color. Floral aroma. Honey, mango and nectar flavors. Semi sweet. Amazingly complex flavor for the price.
