Vinum 2004 - Petite Sirah - PETS
(over 2 years ago)J spotted this at KandL Wines in SF after a Giants game a while back and wanted to try this wine again, she had it last year and thought it was pretty good. Alas it seemed to both of us that this wine was a bit off the curve of where it should be in that it had lost flavor, weak on tanin's and the earthiness that PETS is known for was lacking. No real body and for a 2.5 year wine thats pretty sad. I've seen Zin with more body and at 14% alcohol it should have had some.

(about 1 year ago)Just OK for me, dog. OK that was bad (especially if you've seen the label). But seriously, I have given petit syrah a chance and I am usually disappointed. This wine did not disappoint in disappointing. Its just lacking in flavor and finish. Its not a terrible wine, just terribly boring.
