Big Fire 2004 Oregon Pinot Noir

A very dark red with a satin smooth body that absorbs light and cast shadows into the glass. Sipped deliberately, pungent fruit and balanced acidity satisfy the nose and palate. The mouth feel is full and refreshed without pronounced alcohol. Sriking texturally, it is complicated between the cheecks and easy to swallow (believe me!). Deeper into the taste layers, soaking up larger mouthfulls, the initial hit becomes more rounded and sweeter. Riper and then sweeter notes recall peaches and mango passion fruits appreciating together with cinnamon and ginger. Exceptional tasting.

The bottle was mis-priced at $9.99, so I thought I'd give it a try. A little sweeter than other favorite pinots. Very easy to drink, but had a "tinny" finish.
