Big and bold with a full bodied structure. It's jam-packed with juicy blackberry fruit flavours with a complex structure and a soft, velvety smooth finish. Great with food and just as good on its own.

(4 months ago)Smooth, as most of the wines I try. Very nice.
Andrew Peace Family Reserve Cabernet Shiraz
(3 months ago)Nose: licorice, vanilla, a little metallic. Hits the back of the throat, and there's a big warm fruit taste too. Natural smell. Whirl: Intriguing. To start, there seems to be no taste at all, then it comes in an epiphany. Bees wax! Lots of tannins. Aftertaste of frogs, asparagus, very green and it lasts a while. Absolutely no sweetness, but there is sour raspberry and a bit of vanilla. All sorts of things going on here. Carnival of Shiraz! After the first few swigs, it mellows and there is the taste of red pepper skin. Definite sour cherry aftertaste. Scored 86 because it's dead nice and interesting but there is almost too much going on.
