The story has resolved to this - Washington wines are hits and misses, with the wash of misses studded with diamonds. Fair? Hardly. I tried maybe 30 wines, including tastings where I had mere sips. Nonetheless, I'm convinced that Seven Hills is one of the diamonds. First the dynamite Viognier, and now this - one hell of a little bordeaux blend. Nosy, spicy, complicated, unique, everything I like in a wine.
