Bodegas Loriñon 2001 Rioja Crianza
(over 2 years ago)Tart, crisp, and light, this is one red wine where you can truly taste the berries. Absolutely perfect with tapas or by itself, the Rioja might be overwhelmed by heavy or spicy food. If your taste runs to syrah, this wine might be too light for your palate. "Crianza" means it's already aged two years (at least one in oak), so there's no need to put up a bottle: buy, open, drink, and enjoy. A bargain at the price.

(about 1 year ago)Nose is unusually sour; even a little off-putting. Pleasant, fruity taste with noticeable oak overtones.
