Soter 2006 North Valley Pinot Noir
(5 months ago)What an ornery bastard! Big spiciness when I opened her up, almost like a CA Syrah. She wanted to bite. Took a good two or three hours of beating in the decanter before those edges smoothed out and the cherry-shouldered lady stepped out. Not my favorite Oregon pinot, but a nice one, with good thymey depth and a strange hint of lemon that came out more after it'd been open. Bought and req'ed by Esquin in Seattle.
