Deep gold in colour. Extremely aromatic and complex bouquet of tropical fruit, grapefruit, creamed corn, vanilla, Werther's Original caramels, sweaty wool socks and lemon. The palate is dry, but with the impression of sweetness due to the rich flavours and high alcohol. Full-bodied with a lovely mouthfeel. Moderating acidity keeps everything clean and lively. Very well-balanced with an outstanding finish. This wine has aged beautifully and is probably drinking at its peak right now.
