Ortman 2003 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
(over 2 years ago)A wine of thises and thats. A bit of fruit, a bit of spice, a bit of that shroominess that says Pinot to me. A very nice drinking wine, wonderful with a bit of food, extremely balanced and mellow. A bit too mellow for my tastes, but mellow nonetheless. When I've tried some of the good balanced Pinots of France, I may come back to this wine as a fav. In the meantime, I have too much of a taste for eccentricities.
