This and the previous vintage are both solid pinots. Delicious with their usual accompaniments (pork, duck, salmon, that sort of thing), they're also quite drinkable by themselves. The tannic structure is a little more robust than many other pinots noirs, but it doesn't overpower the tremendous fruit flavor.
