2003 Catena Malbec
(over 2 years ago)Elegant yet complex with many layers of flavor ranging from fruit to pepper.
2003 Catena Malbec
(over 2 years ago)Black fruit with hints of herbs in the background. 13.9% alcohol teeters on medium body without being hot on the finish. Tannins are very present, but not enough to rip the enamel off your teeth. Highly recommend pairing with steak or burgers off the grill. Catena is a great producer to look for when shopping the Argentinian section at your local wine shop.

(about 1 year ago)This wine goes for just under $30 US where we live and it drinks like a $60-100 wine. It is consistent and well-liked by everyone who tries it. We have taken to keeping a case of it around to have on hand for whenever we have friends over.
