14 Hands 2004 Chardonnay
(over 2 years ago)Tried at Mizuna, Spokane. The problem with unoaked chard is that it really turns the wine into a make or break situation – either it stands on its own or it sinks without the old friend buttery oak. Unfortunately this wine sank, though with the excellent beet salad I had with it, I really didn’t mind all that much. Apple and melon at the front, fruit cocktail on the back end.

(about 1 year ago)had with some Caribbean food, it was okay. but wouldn't have stood too well on it's own

(about 1 year ago)Apple and pear to start, nice buttery smooth finish. Well balanced and interesting. Good mouth feel.
