For the price, this was really good. Upon looking at it, it has a slightly pink color, probably because there's a lot more Chardonnay than Pinot Noir in it. Nevertheless, it was nice, with a slightly yeasty smell on the nose, but upon tasting it, it bursts with red fruit and a hint of citrus. With the price of French Champagne going up up up--it's nice to know that the Australian's are producing some pleasant quaffers that are very affordable. This one is bottle fermented, methode Champenoise, as they say. So, guess what? That means, you can buy inexpensive sparkling wine with very little hangover. Happy New Year!!
