"Inky purple. Vibrant red and dark berries on the nose, with sexy vanillin oak, Asian spices, fresh flowers and bright minerality. A silky, graceful midweight, displaying vivid raspberry and blackberry flavors and slow-building tannic grip. More tangy than the 2004, and at least as elegant, finishing with outstanding clarity and persistence."

El Nido Clio Jumilla 2005
(2 months ago)30% Cab 70% Monastrell from Chris Ringland and Jorge Ordonez. Tons of vanilla and butterscotch on the nose and mouth bring a sort of candied taste to the wine. Rich, extracted, black cherry and cocoa. The oak smothers the alcohol (of which Ringland is pretty famous) and makes for a delicious and ready to drink wine. I have no idea how these wines will age, and if I were you I wouldn't be the guy/girl that finds out.
