Menage a Trois White
(over 2 years ago)Buttery mouth feel from the chardonnay, the chenin blanc lends acidity and the muscat gives it just a touch of sweetness...very nice. Smells delicious...reminded me of ripe melons.
Menage a Trois White
(over 2 years ago)This is a very simple off-dry/semi-sweet wine. It has good melon notes, but the lack of acidity & complexity and excessive sweetness make this just an average wine IMO. If you like sweeter wines, then this would be a great buy for the price. But, I'm not a sweet wine guy, so take that into consideration when reading my review.
Menage a Trois White
(over 2 years ago)Not a dry white, but turning bitter on the finish. Not very well integrated fruit flavors of melon and lemon merengue. Simple finish.
Menage a Trois White
(over 2 years ago)Too sweet for my tastes. Doesn't pair well with food, IMO.
Menage a Trois White
(about 1 year ago)Had this tonight with sushi. Was nice initially but then got really sweet. Would not chalk this up as tasting cheap because it didn't - just a little too much "sugar in the tank for me".
Menage a Trois White
(11 months ago)acidic to the nose. The chardonnay and chenin blanc tone down the sweetness of the muscat. Not dry at all, but does finish bitter. This wine didn't grow on me.
