Tasting Notes from Cork’d Members
John Duval Plexus Barossa Valley 2005
(2 days ago)Aroma: Oak dominates the nose. Nice coffee and black raspberry. Taste: Too much oak. Good mouthfeel, smooth, but very one dimensional with the oak insinuating itself throughout. There's good fruit here and a nice finish, but it's pretty generic tasting for a the price. I expected more. It was far better after 3 days on the counter.
