Stellar wine, especially for the price. Not particularly strong in complexity, but that said, this pretty darn well captures the essence of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Very recommended.

citrus with superb grapefruit flavors. I especially enjoyed the bitterness that comes with the grape fruit. Also hints peach in the finish, and a slightly floral nose. good stuff

Grapefruit juice, with slices of dried apricot and really tart crab apples. Very crisp, very light, but a nice color for a NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Nothing life-changing, but a great food wine, a great summer wine, and not so much acidity that you feel like your mouth is getting cut up. Very serviceable and for the price, it brings more interesting fruit to the table. I think some of the ratings on this wine are a little crazy (high), but it's very good for what it is.

Alluring nose of lime juice, as well as a hint of both rose petals and orange rind. The taste has a rich grassy grapefruit flavor strengthened by a strong acidity. As the wine opens a bit, flavors of pineapple, honeysuckle, and passion fruit becomes noticeable, but it is first and foremost an acid bomb. Great food wine.

I actually find this very dissapointing, especially considering the price. Not near the acidity and explosion of fruit I would like. A bit soft with some tropical and citrus flavors finishes a bit short. Will look elsewhere for NZ SB.

Big nose of melon, grass and bit of jalapeno. Very zesty, fruit forward with a lot of acidity. I would like to see just a tad more lime to balance the grass, but this is a classic Marlborough SB.
