A bit of blue ink, bacon fat, and game on the nose. Real interesting stuff. Palate is nice, very surprised for this price point actually. Nice stuff, until the finish which is a little lackluster. Thin, pretty unstructured actually. Really surprised here. This wine was doing pretty good but geez, this is that big as drop at the peak of the roller coaster. Really not enjoying the finish as much as the rest of the wine. Wow. Shocking. This was a pretty good wine.
