not a sweet sauvignon blanc--very dry with a complex mineral and herb flavors. excellent match with a nice summer light soup or grilled chicken

At first opening, had a spritzy almost sparkling quality. Has an uncomplicated, dry taste for a Sauvignon Blanc. Was not dissapointed but uncorking a few days later, I was struck by a taste of - for lack of a better word - 'alchohol' flavor on the first few sips.
