Concha y Toro 2005 Marques de Casa Concha Chardonnay
(about 1 year ago)Lemony-lime on the nose, but also hints of sea-shell and minerals. Enters very discreet in the fore-palate, and evolves nicely in the mid-palate until it reaches a nice peak of flavors in the finish, with a very pleasant exit. Hints of green olives, petrol, nice acidity, and some but low oak. Doesn't change my life, but it's Chardonnay alright. Will probably evolve some over time in bottle. That means, good fruit.

(about 1 year ago)Enjoyed this Chardonnay more than most. Nice balance of pear, pineapple and lemon/lime. Crisp & stays fresh. Enjoyed with turkey at Christmas dinner. Very nice. Here's GV WLTV on this wine: http://tv.winelibrary.com/2007/08/02/90-point-wines-under-15-bones-episode-286/

(10 months ago)I was very impressed with this effort. Nice tropical fruits & light oak on the nose. Beautiful integration of acidity & fruit, very very nice! Not over-oaked. Perfect finish. This one is a winner and stands taller than a lot of other chards at twice the price or more!
