Vanilla and chocolate on the nose. Fairly well balanced with a semi long finish. A good deal for the price.

Judging from the other reviews, I must have opened a BAD bottle! I wasn't expecting much, really, but neither my husband nor I could drink this. It wasn't corked (it's a SCREW CAP!), but there was nothing but ALCOHOL on the nose and palate. I poured this one down the drain... no great loss, but it would have been fun to have found a GOOD, CHEAP wine :)

Purchased at Trader Joe's in Tempe, AZ. Based on my experience, the previous reviewer did indeed get a tainted bottle, as this one was very enjoyable. Some jammy plum in the nose w/ light tannin & blackberry. The taste is light in body but juicy, with some tannin but some sweetness as well. Only a hint of the typical Shiraz pepper. Good and surprisingly balanced for such an inexpensive wine!

we brought a couple bottles of this to burning man this year, based on the price. this crap was so pungent & brutal, it was undrinkable. i think we gave the other bottle away? i cant remember, but i was terribly disappointed. it better off being used to light fires with.

While not complex - this wine has a great mouth feel, full of rich texture, jammy fruit, and low acidity. Very smooth wine that is great for the price.
