This is a small production(50 cases) California Cabernet that you hope Wine Spectator & Robert Parker never finds out about. The owner Joan Teachworth is a wonderful woman who crafts these lovely cabernets. NOTE: They do not travel well due to a very large sedement deposit. If you are going to drink these wines do yourself and everyone else a favor get the bottle there a good week in advance. It deserves time to settle and decant initially just to get the sedement free wine....
Tasting Notes from Cork’d Members
2001 Teachworth Estate Blend
(11 months ago)This wine was only tasted once and without decanting it it was an easy 92-93. Without the sedement this wine has the potential to be a 96-99 point wine. I'll let you know when I open my next bottle.
