This is a small production(50 cases) California Cabernet that you hope Wine Spectator & Robert Parker never finds out about. The owner Joan Teachworth is a wonderful woman who crafts these lovely cabernets. NOTE: They do not travel well due to a very large sedement deposit. If you are going to drink these wines do yourself and everyone else a favor get the bottle there a good week in advance. It deserves time to settle and decant initially just to get the sedement free wine....
Tasting Notes from Cork’d Members
2001 Teachworth Estate Blend
(over 2 years ago)This wine was only tasted once and without decanting it it was an easy 92-93. Without the sedement this wine has the potential to be a 96-99 point wine. I'll let you know when I open my next bottle.
