Pascal Jolivet 2004 Sancerre
(over 2 years ago)A lovely Sancerre, fruity but not overwhelmingly so, with a soft mineral finish. Matched fantastically with sushi.
Pascal Jolivet 2004 Sancerre
(about 1 year ago)Sancerre is turing out to be one of my preferred wines. This wine has a wonderful color that borders on green in the glass. It looks a bit like lemon grass. There is a distinct lime component on the nose integrated with fresh herbs. Brace yourself when this wine hits your palate. It will cause you to stand to attention. There is a purity and focus to the fruit & minerality. The acidy is potent without being harsh. There is a green apple component & honey component that seem to last and last. The finish on this wine seems to last forever. Lovely wine. Works very well with food.

(about 1 year ago)Nice mineral notes, well balanced, cat piss nose (tipical of Sancerres). Drank this wine so many times.
