Definite blackberry aromas and other black fruits I'm not able to identify. It has long finish, very dry with strong acidity. However, it's not a pleasant finish, other than just burning alcohol in the back of the throat. I had it with meat pizza and buffalo wild wings and it was OK, not the first wine of choice but it's what I had on hand. I would not purchase more.
