Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
(about 1 year ago)Very good nose, lots of black fruit like blackberry, a touch of strawberry and some cedar box. Good mouthfeel, firm tannins. Get a mocha aspect, as well as the dark fruit. Maybe some tobacco on the finish. Probably could use a few years of cellaring, and should hold up well.
Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
(about 1 year ago)Somewhat dry with wavering tannins, dark fruit, figs and a little tobacco, with dry earthiness, smooth but somewhat unremarkable in the finish. The price doesnt denote what I was expecting to get out of the glass. Medium plus body, in order to enjoy this wine come back in about 4 years or so.
