Surprisingly (to me) dark red and tannic. Stood up to grilled short ribs admirably. Will buy again.

It is a very intense dark ruby red with a wonderful fruity (berries) nose. The taste is fresh and fruity. The wine finishes on a dry note. In short: A truly flavorful, delicious, refreshing Lambrusco. Recommended to serve cold. A classic, quality, authentic dry Lambursco from a quality producer (Medici Ermete). Great picnic, summertime wine. Best with food, such as pizza, pasta, salumi, burgers. Highly recommended.
