(over 2 years ago)Smooth with some fruit. Tannins did not overpower. Good bottle for the price.

(over 2 years ago)Rich, fruity flavor with good balance. A great deal (we bought some for $8).

(over 2 years ago)This “foofy-labeled” wine started with the “just flushed the toilet and opened the door boof-o-rama smell.” And man oh man did it hit hard on first taste. If you were a conductor, you’d have the whole symphony going, Grapedonk said. Other than a bit of Scotch-Brited Revere Ware taste, it wasn’t bad, though.
After twenty minutes or so, this wine opened up nicely, with blueberry, dark cherry, and “smoky oakey, karaoke,” kind of thing. Nice stuff, and a great buy at $9.99.

McManis 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon
(about 1 year ago)Purple color, light bodied. Nose: not really Cabernet Sauvignon, but rather grapey. Taste: Fruity, Merlot-like, again not like Cabernet. Pleasant quaff, but not as interesting as other $10 wines.
