Monkey Bay 2005 Sauvignon Blanc
(over 2 years ago)Not bad - has an interesting "tangy" taste to it. Goes down fairly easy, and isn't very dry.

(about 1 year ago)Perfectly suitable New World sauvignon blanc. However, you can find many others at this same price point that are much more interesting.

(about 1 year ago)Very nice everyday Sauvignon Blanc, perfect for the price.

(about 1 year ago)Decent for the price. I would drink this as an everyday wine.
Monkey Bay 2005 Sauvignon Blanc
(about 1 year ago)I think the best thing about this wine is that you can find it virtually anywhere and it is cheap. It would be one of my top candidate wines if I'm in a hurry to pick up a fruity and dry wine at my local grocery store. In terms of crispness and fruit I think it leaves more to be desired if compared to other Marlborough SBs. I would rather pay a little bit more and go with a Brancott, Drylands or Kim Crawford to be completely honest. It still holds up remarkably well against most other good Chilean SB that you find in a supermarket.

Monkey Bay 2005 Sauvignon Blanc
(7 months ago)GRAPEFRUIT JUICE! Thats what you smell and taste. The finish was very smooth, not hot. Very nice wine by itself.
Monkey Bay 2005 Sauvignon Blanc
