Grapes of the Tinta de Toro variety selected by hand in our oldest vineyard. The wine is processed in our modern installations and then aged in oak barrels which make Sobreño a unique pleasure for any lover of fine red wines.

A generous amount of oak on the nose; tastes of black currant, oak and a trace of black pepper. Before the wine was decanted, this was perhaps a 75-78 point wine. Decanting this wine for four hours really smoothed out this wine considerably. If you are not a fan of the "Oak Monster," then you will want to pass on this one.
