Since 1353 the noble Serego Alighieri family descendants of the poet Dante Alighieri, has cultivated its estate in Valpolicella with passion and competence. The traditional Corvina marries the Sangiovese grapes, which have been cultivated on its estate. The short maturation in cherry-wood barrels gives a unique personality to a well-structured wine, rich in fruitiness and spicy flavours. An elegant wine to accompany the whole meal. Serve at 18 deg celsius.

Masi Serego Alighieri Possessioni Rosso 2004
(about 1 year ago)Very nice, better than the Masi Campofiorino. Bright but subdued fruit, long finish. Would buy again. (Review is 2002 vintage.)
