80% tempranillo, 20% graciano... from klwines.com: "90 points Robert Parker: "The 2003 Pujanza, aged 13 months in new French oak and bottled unfiltered, is an opulent, impressive Rioja exhibiting potent, fat, black cherry and tobacco-tinged fruit flavors nicely bolstered by toasty oak. It offers plenty of texture, purity, and spice. Drink it over the next 4-5 years." (06/05)"

2003 Bodegas y Vinedos Pujanza, Rioja
(over 2 years ago)I liked this wine, I received it through a wine club. Not the greatest value but you do pay for what you get. The nose was fantastic, really nice (but controlled) oak notes mixed with blackberry and plum, and a hint of green pepper. A true old world wine in my opinion that well demonstrates tempranillo and the land it came from. While I found the wine to be well balanced and complex, I think it could have been more expressive. ... + or - evals...
