Not hars, floral (a rose, specifically). Not too sweet. More of a fragrant wine than a tasting wine.

(about 1 year ago)Not harsh, floral (a rose, specifically). It has a mild sweetness. The fragrance, though -- that's where it's at! It nearly knocked me on my ass -- but in a good way. This is my example of how screw-cap wines can be very good. I bought a case of it.

(about 1 year ago)A to Z makes a great pinot noir. Get over the screw cap and buy it immediately. Good acidity and mouthfeel. Nicely balanced flavors. a Great value and a solid wine.

(about 1 year ago)A very high-quality pinot, though its acidity was a tad too high for my personal taste.

(about 1 year ago)I thought this wine is just average lacking any personality or highlights. kinda on the "alcoholly" side with a finish of tannins/acids-I guess i was expecting more???? Is is just okkkkkk.

(about 1 year ago)Medium ruby red; enticing cherry and baking spice aromas, with a pretty floral touch; beautifully balanced with a round mouthfeel; lucious, dark cherry and vanilla flavors, that went on and on. Definitely new world, and a bit one dimensional, but as GV says, "That one dimension is... yum!"

(about 1 year ago)More candied than earthy in aroma, with floral notes; dried cherries and chocolate, with a lovely mouthfeel; finishes smooth and surprisingly long; I agree with previous reviewer -- a great value in PN and one to buy by the case.

(about 1 year ago)Strawberry comes to mind. I feel this wine is similar to Strawberry Hill with half the complexity. That makes it a great wine.
A To Z 2005 Oregon Pinot Noir
(about 1 year ago)Had strong aromas of berries, watermelon and a hint of sea... Tasted dry with weak tannins and berries and peach flavors. Short to moderate finish. The wine is balanced but a bit dull.

(12 months ago)A nice pinot for under 20$. Hints of floral and leather on the nose. Not a peppery as most Pinots. I tend to go for this more than california pinots.
