The color is dark. The taste is very earthy with a hint of butterscotch. Not as sweet as other pinots. LIttle aftertaste.

It has a raisin-y flavor, but not in a bad way. That may be my palate's interpretation of butterscotch by the other reviewer. Not a bad bottle at all!

I did not like this wine as much as the 2004. The aroma was still nice, but the flavor was too earthy and hot for me. Very disappointed.
