winelibrary.com: ""Castell Roig (pronounced kas-tel-roych) Brut Nature Cava has a fine bubble and is long-lasting . It is aged for a minimum of 18 months. The nose is both fruity and floral, while in the mouth, this wine is fresh, light, well-balanced and very dry. A quintessential 'food wine,' offering a delightful counterpoint to all courses of a meal. Unlike most of the cavas in the USA market today, Castell Roig owns their own vines and controls all areas of production in order to produce this excellent representation of a 'true' cava.""

Excellent nose of apple and pear. Full taste on the palate - very balanced. Highly recommended, especially at < $10!

Very good sparkling wine for the price. The nose is very rich and lemony. Some lemon zest and mineral aspects come through on the palette as well.
