Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne
(over 2 years ago)This is a well rounded, solid champagne -- not sickly sweet or overly bubbly or too brutish. It also has a special place in the rack because my (now) wife had a bottle waiting for me on the day I proposed to her .. so we always have a bottle on hand for special occasions!

(over 2 years ago)It's tasty. But price should be changed to 45 for a whole bottle (if you're lucky).

(over 2 years ago)One of my favorite champagnes. Around Seattle it frequently goes on sale at $35-40, and I always stock up so there are a few bottles in the cellar. Dry, delicious, and a great way to celebrate.

(over 2 years ago)A little on the dry side for my taste, but a good finish.
Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne
(over 2 years ago)A decent champagne for the money. I find it a little too brutish, but my tastes tend to the blancs de noir. It has a fairly good finish without being spectacular and isn't too bubbly. I'd say it's something I'd keep on hand for when I have people over or for a minor special occasion, but go for something else for a really important event.

(over 2 years ago)Stocked at the local Costco means stocked in my home. At 33 dollars a bottle, this isn't the every afternoon champagne. Nevertheless, its clean and well balanced pallate with just the right amount of sweetness makes this my favorite affordable real champagne. Not too dry, but I understand how some might feel that way. It isn't too dark nasty or brutish, even though its a "brut". The Label is exceedingly pretty. That alone might warrant the purchase. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I've never had a hangover after this sparkling wine.

(over 2 years ago)This has been my go-to champagne for a while now. It's dry, yes, but that just lets you appreciate the crisp, delicate citrus finish. YUM!
Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne
(over 2 years ago)A crisp, clean champagne with a quick, effervescent finish. Not too sweet, not too Brut - an excellent way to ring in the New Year.
Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne
(over 2 years ago)I've had good and bad bottles of Clicquot's yellow label so I find it quite inconsistant. There are so many great grower Champagnes out there offering stunning wines at the same or better price. I figure why bother taking a chance.

(about 1 year ago)This is how I like my bubbly. Not too sweet and not too dark. Interesting citrus/ nutmeg on the finish. Always a crowd pleaser!!!
Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne
(about 1 year ago)This is one of my favorite champagnes...It's always reliable, tasty and most importantly, NOT TOO SWEET. I've had it on several special occasions and even just for fun. Although I agree that it's more like $45-$50 for a bottle and expect to pay upwards of $75 at a restaurant.

(about 1 year ago)Not my favorite champagne, but it's always good and easy to come by. I usually pick up a few bottles to keep on hand when it's on sale.
Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne
(about 1 year ago)A nice consistent Champagne.
Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne
(about 1 year ago)Almonds and apple cider on the nose. Lemons, lemongrass, green apples and shot of slightly bitter grapefruit at the finish. Fabulous bubbles.
Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label Champagne
(10 months ago)This champagne is delicious. Not too sweet, not to bitter or sharp. Well worth the price. Great story behind this bottle that everyone should research and enjoy.
