The Big Red Monster
(over 2 years ago)Flat and uninspiring. Big, juicy berries with no finish. Really easy to drink, but really nothing special here.
The Big Red Monster
(about 1 year ago)Pretty good table wine, but nothing special.
The Big Red Monster
(about 1 year ago)I've been drinking Zins and Malbecs, this wine is by no means a "Monster". A nice hit of fruit, then...nothing. I hope the chuck steak it's marinating will be good on the grill!
The Big Red Monster
(about 1 year ago)Bouquet: FRUIT BOMB!!!! Hints of blackberry, some big league chew purple gum, black pepper and black licorice. Flavor Profile: As I sad earlier FRUIT BOMB!!! This is like a can of coke with a hot dog. There is nothing complex, deep or dimensional in this wine. Simply Purple fruit mixed with some red fruit. With some fresh cracked pepper and lined with some mellow tannins. Not 75 points bad, for 10 bucks and all you want is to chat with the blowing purple bubble gum kinda girl this wine will do you just fine. Think grape Bazooka for those first 15 seconds. Not awful. And hey the packaging rocks! ;)
The Big Red Monster
(about 1 year ago)A little too fruity, typical California. The label is fun though - almost worth the $9.99 right there. Uncorked 30 minutes before drinking, as advised on the label. Have you come face to face with the red monster? It may not haunt you forever (as the label suggests), but it will certainly get you through the night. Or at least a few hours.
The Big Red Monster
(9 months ago)Fruit forward on the nose but unexciting on the taste. Although, I must say that this is a solid wine, its probably not something I would buy in the future.
