Enjoyed this wine. Tart and alcohol heavy up front due to the 14.5%, great mouth feel. Fruit seemed more muted than I initially was hoping for. We finished it though.

2003 was a rough year for Zin apparently. Overly hot summers made for a tough growing season. High alcohol content at 14.5% felt focused up front - let it sit for a bit before you drink it. Fruit a bit more muted than I was expecting. Overally however, a great Thursday night bottle with fantastic mouth-feel and finish.
