Panarroz Jumilla 2004
(over 2 years ago)very drinkable wine for a quiet Friday evening with the wife after the kids have gone to bed. Crap'all on the Telly and you're in the mood for a good conversation spurred by a credible but not too in-your-face red. Some fruity angles without being too obtuse. Some smoky hints and a wee interesting tanin reflection. I like it! A fun, relaxing, Spaniard. Purchased at Costco! Kudos!

(over 2 years ago)42% Mourvedre, 38% Grenache, and 20% Syrah -- quite likeable.

(over 2 years ago)Soft nose and a warm taste going down. Quite drinkable and a good price on a Spanish wine.

(about 1 year ago)We have heard that there are some great Spanish reds for affordable prices, and this wine was certainly one of them. Bursts of fruit flavor -- tastes of blackberries, cherries, and chocolate -- and it was much smoother than we thought it would be, with a nice finish. We tasted it with chocolate brownies, and it was a very nice pair! Because of the price, this is definitely a wine that we will purchase again.

(about 1 year ago)We found this wine at our local "Bargain Bank" for $1, yes, one dollar. It's a food/drink liquidation outlet, so you can find some real winners if you hunt for them. For the price this wine was excellent. If it cost $9 like it lists above, I'd probably wouldn't like it as much.

(about 1 year ago)Nose of butterscotch which is real nice. However the flavor reminds me of an unripe plum. It's fruity but a little tart . There is that plum flavor ready to come out but the tartness of the tannins will not let it. Good wine but just not complete.

(about 1 month ago)Lots of fruit, nice mouth feel. Very tasty - great everyday value with a little bit more.
