Nice cheap wine from Trader Joes. Well balanced tannins. A little fruit, little residual sweetness.

I loved this bottle of wine for the price that I paid of just $3.49 at Trader Joe's. I thought it compared to many $10 and even $15 bottles of wine that I have had. I will continue to buy this wine until they are gone from the shelf! It is a wine that I am happy to simply sip on its own. It was a bit fickle in the food pairing department. (I thought that it might go nicely with steak but it was not rich enough to hold up..it was wonderful with Italian food though which makes sense!) All in all, a very pleasant wine! Karen

In expensive. Easy to drink. Dry red. Not oakey. Dark red. Definitely would buy again Trader Joes
