Mark West 2004 Pinot Noir
(over 2 years ago)My favorite Pinot. Lots of vanilla (oak) but plenty of fruit.

(over 2 years ago)I'm not sure if this is the new Mark West Pinot or the old one. I tried a Mark West Pinot Noir that was fruity and easy to drink - not to mention excellent for the price. However, they recently changed their Pinot and it's just not as good. If this is the new Pinot I'd probably give it a 2 if it's the old one it gets a 5.

(over 2 years ago)Classic pinot. Good with everything, especially risotto with mushrooms.

(over 2 years ago)Eminently drinkable. I like this as our "house wine". Not pricey. The 2003 was better, perhaps.

Mark West 2004 Pinot Noir
(about 1 year ago)Two main things to note: Thin and Fruity This is the complete opposite of the 2003. It fell flat, it has no real distinguishing qualities anymore; I was very disappointed. It still is a good pinot noir, just not as good as it used to be.
Mark West 2004 Pinot Noir
(about 1 year ago)Purple red color, nice legs, Fresh Pinot Noir nose,Light body with lively Pinot Noir flavor with subtle spice and meaty, earthy notes, especially in finish; mild, sweet tannins. Doesn't shoot the moon and falls down as a sipping wine, but good with food and a nice, light everyday pinot which would go well with poultry or fish.
