Ca'na 2002 Syrah Estate Grown - Contra Costa County 144/12 Our flagship wine, is made with 100% estate grown fruit. The grapes were harvested on September 14th, 2000 with a Brix reading of 26.5. Fermented in stainless steel tanks for the normal duration, then aged for 19 months in 60% new American oak and 40% once used American oak barrels. Bottling date was April 23, 2002.

Notes of smoky plum, figs and spice... followed by hints of caramel, earth and toasty oak. Bright juicy flavors of cherry and plum with pronounced peppercorn spice. Well balanced with a clean finish.
