Bright cherry aromas, soft vanilla and berry fruit flavors, with a soft, lightly woody aftertaste. Very light flavor overall. Goes well with pasta, basil, oragano, and tomato.

(about 1 year ago)Fantastic with pasta, and has a light body for enjoying all evening. 12% alcohol content by volume.
Dellatorri Chianti 2004
(about 1 year ago)Cherry and vanilla, fruity, clean smelling but the taste doesn't match the nose. The taste has woody tones. Jim smells the woodiness, but I taste it. It's ok, but not my favorite $10 wine. We had this with a muffuletta sandwich (italian meats, olives, bread, etc.) and the saltiness took some of the bite out of the wine. I liked it better with the food than without.

(3 months ago)fruit forward, subtle tannins making this wine surprisingly easy to drink. Well balanced, not too dry.
