tannins, plums, cloves, and raspberries. this needs some extremely hearty/thick food to go with it. my cous cous dish was no sufficient. that being said, it's not a good wine, but it's in no way bad either. only paid around $5 for it since it was at Trader Joe's though so it was still a good deal.
