Whitehaven 2005 Sauvignon Blanc (Screw Cap)
(over 2 years ago)Really nice example of NZ sauvignon blanc, with a grassy/mineral nose and good balance and crisp but not overwhelming acidity. The flavors are citrus but more complex, not as one-note as other NZ SBs can be.

(over 2 years ago)Crisp and delightful grapefruit and pear accents.

(about 1 year ago)Limestone, kiwi, grapefruit and green apples. Perhaps a little too tart for its own good this Sauvi Blanc is still a good example of what NZ can do with the grape.
