A light-bodied, fruity pinot noir. This is Domaine Carneros' entry-level wine. While very accessible, and no major flaws, I think any food with this wine would over power it. For this price, I would expect more, so either spend more for the other wonderful Domaine Carneros pinot noirs (Estate and Famous Gate), or opt for another less-expensive label.
