This is a great wine if you are looking for something sweet and smooth. Very sweet/fruity taste makes this an enjoyable stand-alone wine.

It has a green apple and honeydew flavor that only slightly teases you with those samples of flavor. It quickly turns to a sickly sweet and grapefruit-ish palate. It then descends to a bitter-sour finish. It has a syrupy consistency that I’ve heard some people complain about when they say they don’t like Rieslings. There is no mineral, no acidity, nothing to balance any of the sweet and syrupy taste. I did find the bitter element somewhat disturbing. Disturbing like an East German propaganda film. Even Leni Riefenstahl films had nicer endings than this did. This is one wine to avoid. If you are new to wine and have never tried a Riesling, do not try this one. Funf is not something I would recommend to anyone.

Extremely sweet. Especially after a few days after opening. Very syrupy. Pear and apple up front and it's tasty. But, very, very sweet. If you dig sweet, you'll like it.

I thought this wine was very good. Not to get too in depth here as that is not the intention of the wine itself. When rivaling the "relax" Riesling, I think Funf 5 comes out on top. It's not over-the-top fruity or sweet like its counterpart. I found it extremely easy to drink, shocking due to my very intense dislike for most white wines. Funf is something to be enjoyed with friends, not paired with an exquisite meal. A wine for after 5. Relaxing, doing your paperwork, or just to sip and enjoy.

Sweet! Almost sugary sweet. I enjoyed the glass I had, but am afraid I won't be drinking this one again. Would be great with strawberries.

Red delicious apples and bitter apple skin on the nose, with some lime juice too. This is a lot like apple cider.....sweet, juicy, sugary, and slightly tart. Not bad, but way too sugary.

Much better 24 hrs after opening! The acidity dropped down a bit and let the lovely fruits come through. Very nice star fruit on the bouquet and palate; crispness without too much tightness.

didn't detect much taste but a whisp of maybe green apple. Had a strange sharp tang at the end that was fortunately not long lingering. Better after a couple of days in the fridge but not enough to get me to buy again. And I like Riesling.
