Chateau Val Joanis 2005 Cotes du Luberon
(over 2 years ago)Light & almost peachy. Drink young. Also has Ugni Blanc in it -- sorry, forgot to add that to the varietals category.
Chateau Val Joanis 2005 Cotes du Luberon
(about 1 year ago)Just a note, this wine was served over chilled and may have screwed my tasting up a bit. There is almost nothing on the nose here. Slight fake pear and concord grape juice coming through on an other cold and unremarkable wine. The midpalate is well, I dunno, is there even wine in my glass? I get a subtle note of oak on the finish but that’s about it. Seems like a safe wine but being near popsicle temperature I might need to revisit this one.
