A: My father started Tafoya’s Tree Service in 1986 with aspirations of starting something that he could pass on to his family. I started in the industry 9 years ago and knew this is what I wanted to do. I am proud to come to work with my father every day and it has been a pleasure helping him grow this company and our clientele. We now have 10 employees and multiple crews on staff.
A: There are no easy jobs in Houston, every job is challenging. We are always working around power lines and structures. Tree service gets tricky around pools and water, especially when there are power lines around but we have the experience and equipment to maneuver around those obstacles. We have special tools that help us work around power lines and know all of the safety precautions to work around bodies of water and electricity. The majority of our jobs have no room for error but our tree specialists have training and experience to handle it all.
