A: We unofficially started Precise Tree Care in 2002 by picking up some side-work that friends and acquaintances needed done. By 2006 both had quit their previous jobs to go full time due to the growth from the continuing referrals. Gus had been in the industry since 1991.
A: We here at Precise Tree Care, Inc. never shy away from any project. We have many members of our team that have several different areas of expertise. Whether it be a tricky removal in a tight spot or a large multi-acre clearing job. We’ve had single tree removals that have taken multiple days to complete due to the technicality of it. We have had clearing jobs last a month.
A: While we wouldn't say we are better at any one thing over another, we would say that we are pretty darn good at technical removals. We have several tree climbers that have an amazing amount of skill.
A: We currently have three certified arborists and four licensed pesticide applicators. Several of our employees are sent to trade shows, seminars and safety demonstrations several times of year.
A: We are members of the International Society of Arboriculture, the Illinois Arborist Association as well as several local Chambers of Commerce. We believe in being a part of our community.
A: Yes, we carry above and beyond the required insurances no only for protection, but our customers as well.
A: We are family owned and operated and our main goal is customer satisfaction. Many companies can say that, but when we have someone that has a concern about a project or didn’t feel something turned out the way they wanted to, we don’t ignore their concerns. Regardless of their project size, each and every customer is important to us. We wouldn’t be where we are today if it weren’t for them.
A: "Specializing In All Your Tree Care Needs". Whether your tree has a disease or fungal issue or just needs a good maintenance trimming, we are your go-to company.
A: Gus started in the tree care industry when he was a teenager, working for a family members company. He then went on to work for a few other local companies and his passion continued to grow. He decided to start a small side-business to help make some extra money for his growing family and it boomed from there. Christina started helping Gus as a laborer when he got too busy to do the jobs on his own. Eventually both had to quit their jobs to keep up with the demand and Christina went on to running the office end while Gus now manages the sales team and crews. It all began with referrals and just keeps growing.
A: We offer a winter discount program that typically runs from December 15th through March 1st where we offer customers 10% off (up to $500) on any trimming or removals.
A: We belong to several local Chambers and sponsor several local sports teams and programs.
A: We have 22 employees working with us
A: We use Stihl Chainsaws, Carlton and Vermeer Stump Grinders and Morbark Chippers.
A: We ONLY do trees. That is our specialty, and it is what we know inside and out. We don’t try to water down our skills by introducing anything extra. There is enough to know in our field as it is.
A: Our proudest achievement would have to be our growth. Even during a recession we have grown each and every year. For only being in business full time for 10 years, during a recession, we are proud of what we have accomplished. We owe it to a phenomenal group of employees, or what we refer to as our 'Precise Family' and all of the amazing customers we have had over the years.
